Liz Marino is an award-winning rughooker known for the beauty and quality of her remarkable work. She teaches and often lectures as a way of educating, giving back and furthering the growth and love for rughooking. Liz was introduced to rughooking over twenty years ago when she happened on a local rug show. She was so impressed by the beauty of what she saw and knew that she wanted to learn the craft. Liz’s first teacher gave her a list of the grand teachers she should study under, both in the US and Canada. Liz began her education by being lucky enough to study with some of the great teachers. She then continued the process by becoming a Certified McGown Teacher and an Ontario Hooking Craft Guild. Through McGown Teacher Workshops and studying at Rughooking Camps and Schools she has been exposed to even more of the great teachers.
